When I asked on the Paid Subscribers chat channel what you/they wanted to hear more about, the subject of hotels, travel and interiors came up several times. So with a commercial hotel job coming up this week, and having worked in partnership with two other hotels overseas this year already, now seemed a good time to delve into it.

So below here’s a bit of an insight into how I’ve worked with hotels, private house owners and travel companies in the past, in case it helps you think of ways you can too; if not to become an interiors photographer, then to work as a helpful compliment to fashion, product or lifestyle shoots, or any commercial and editorial pitches you have in mind.

A shot taken for interior designers Barlow & Barlow used for a front cover of Sunday Times Style.

Shot for designers Buchanan Studio, that was used as a cover for US magazine, Milieu.

This was a quick film shot I took in a location house on a fashion shoot, which went viral and was reposted by hundreds of people which lead to more interiors work.

A restaurant in Valencia I made a pilgrimage to to shoot for my portfolio, as i’d seen imagery on Google.

A shot from the Elle Denmark editorial, which came about after being asked to shoot the interiors of a private stately home.
