CASE STUDY 007: A Production in Sicily
How a job came into being, two years after I connected with the client.
This week’s case study is about long term conversations and relationships, and how they can bear fruit even when they feel like a dead end. I first reached out to this client with a standard introduction email in June 2022 and didn’t get a reply. I reached out again with a shoot idea in January 2023 which she loved, but it’s taken until October 2024 for us to get a project booked and shot. The lesson here: it’s always worth checking back in, and sending more pitches even when you haven’t had a reply the first time. You don’t know where it might lead. Sicily perhaps ;)
